Ministry of silly hats...

This is  a collection of images I took in the last few days... For some strange reason (or no reason at all) this was the time for strange hats, caps or heads... And of course other images...

Love this image... Great style... Love the profile...

I knew something was up when I encountered this a few days ago...

Sharks in the subway... People were filming something in the subway... The big rabbit and the shark were both part of it... Curious if I'll ever find out what this is all about... Quite surreal though...

And I get told that my pants are too short??? ;)

Color was needed here!

Another strange hat... But I was more impressed with the tail...

This morning the theme continued...

Love the calmness here...

A scene from a movie...

Cute! Bunny eared iPhone cover... (pink by the way)

I made my way over to that side of the car before getting off... And as requested: More images from people actually on trains! ;)

This looks like I often feel when getting back from underground... Blinded by the brightness and slightly disoriented...

Glad I captured this... But not sure what it means...

More caps! And shades!

Her look is fabulous!

Another Corbijn moment...

Overwhelmed...

The patterns and mix of it all...

On the uptown 1, 2 & 3 platform...

Moves my heart...

Great face...

Could be in Southern Italy...

Almost...

Religiously discussing...

Solid stance...

Lines and reflections...

Cotton candy man...

Lucky...

Second one of this series... Almost looks like from another time...

I'm a model... You know what I mean...

Expressive hands...

Intense...

Non crazy cap... (I think...)

Motion blur adds drama... (the "normal" version somehow doesn't have the same impact...) Very happy how this turned out, although not a happy picture...

People in the subway system, but not so much on train!

These are from a little Sunday afternoon excursion... Most of them again around Time Square station when switching trains... I've heard remarks asking for more "people on the train" images... That made me think... In the beginning I did more of those, but got away from that somewhat... I guess in part because the useful angles on the train are somewhat limited... Maybe I need to refocus here... But I guess for me getting around the stations and waiting for trains and is as much a part of the subway experience as actually riding them...

Just love the top image... Love the colors, love that they are holding hands...

Strong features... Was trying to get a better angle on him...

Busted!

Strong!

Lines and a train and a magazine...

Great pose!

All walking...

Woman getting on the train... Lovely mood...

Just love how one eyebrow is moved up... Looks very stylish... Note as well the iPhone cover in cassette form... Should be something like this.

Lucky day for me... Only a small part of this trip was dedicated to taking pictures but I'm very happy with what I got!

Neat way to end this trip... Just before I got off the train at 125th Street... The train had already pulled into the station...

Spring is upon us!

I guess spring is finally here... And I like it! As much as I'm fascinated by the heavy clothes and general grimness triggered by winter in the city I'm ready for warmer weather and a change of scenery... These are all taken on my trip back from aikido class, stop over Time Square station...

Just love the top image... So much style and attitude!

Observing the observer...

Good cap!

Spring fashion...

Neat tie!

Checking out the singer on my right...

Hot pink!

Strong face... Reminds me somehow of Erasure's Andy Bell... Might be the hair cut though...

Lovely red...

Back light and wavy hand...

Great light on her...

Sassing me out...

The obligatory shades shot! This time with fancy focus layering...

No shades, but plenty of attitude!

Love this one...

Second shades shot... Very cool attitude...

Not sure which image of this set I like better...

They both have things going for them...
